Painting Guts II

This is what's left after the making—painting scraps, candy wrappers, weed joints, glitter, all the substances and studio remains that keep me going. I collect everything and transform it into something new. These are the raw materials I use to create my vision. Akin to alchemy.

The "Painting Guts" series turns my creative process inside out, making visible what usually gets thrown away or swept up. Every painting leaves behind residue—dried paint on palettes, failed attempts, late-night fuel, the physical evidence of hours spent creating. Instead of discarding these remains, I collect them by making them the art itself.
